SARAH GREEN CARMICHAEL: The web show even earned an Emmy nomination, a TV award that Seinfeld, of course, knew well from his years producing his successful mold breaking sitcom Seinfeld with fellow comedian Larry David. DAN MCGINN: The show is unlike normal talk shows in much the same way that the original Seinfeld was not really like a sitcom. So I’m kind of looking at the show now the way the old Tonight Show was where you would have these people like Charles Nelson Reilly who didn’t have anything to promote, but they were just great on a talk show.
