ETHAN BERNSTEIN: There’s been a lot of back to the future in open office spaces, and office spaces in general. If you build an office space that’s a hybrid space where people choose the space in which they want to work, they’ll choose the space that fits their needs best. If the whole point of opening up an office space is to create collaboration between different kinds of people, similar people are going to choose similar kinds of space and then that’s where the similar people are going to hang out.
