- Advertisement -A Newport musician is bringing his Brooklyn-based band home for a free waterfront concert next week. Chase Ceglie, a multi-instrumentalist who lives in Newport, will perform with his band, Pets, at the King Park Gazebo on Friday, Aug. 15, from 5 to 7 p.m. The concert is part of the Friends of the Waterfront outdoor concert series. Pets, formed in Brooklyn in 2021, features Ceglie alongside brothers Jonny and Nick Campolo. The Friends of the Waterfront, a volunteer-run nonprofit organization, sponsors the summer concert series to promote public access to Newport’s waterfront.
