Going into the 2025 NFL offseason, many fans and analysts believed that the Green Bay Packers would make a big splash in free agency at the wide receiver position. In fact, the only wide receiver transaction Green Bay has made so far at the wide receiver position this offseason was re-signing Bo Melton. While the perspective that Green Bay will not re-sign both Doubs and Watson in 2026 is understandable and reasonable, it does not make much sense for Green Bay to trade one of their top pass catchers while another one is out for an extended period of time.
