ECOWAS Resident Representative office in Liberia donates vital supplies to vulnerable communities in celebration of ECOWAS @ 5019 Sep, 2025In a significant demonstration of regional solidarity and humanitarian commitment, the ECOWAS Resident Representative Office in Liberia has donated a wide range of essential items to elderly citizens, At-Risk youth, and an orphanage. The donation ceremony, held in Monrovia, Liberia on the 17th of September, 2025 is part of ECOWAS’ ongoing commitment to highlight inclusiveness by supporting the vulnerable in society. Her Excellency Josephine Nkrumah, Resident Representative of the President of the ECOWAS Commission in Liberia, led the handover and reaffirmed the Commission’s people-centered approach. “This gesture is not just a donation, it is a reaffirmation of ECOWAS’ commitment to Liberia and the broader region” he remarked. “This support from ECOWAS strengthens our collective mission to safeguard Liberia’s youthful population and provide them with opportunities for growth and transformation” he said.
