The North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust said that it will close the only birthing pool at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, in Huntingdon, for at least two weeks from September 22.
This is for work that forms part of an ongoing programme to improve the labour ward at the hospital.
Mums-to-be are advised to travel to Peterborough City Hospital, where there is a birthing pool and other maternity facilities.
The birthing pool in Hinchingbrooke Hospital will close for two weeks.
"Our usual birthing services will continue as normal throughout that time, but unfortunately the birthing pool will be closed for that two-week period.
