The partnership, between social enterprise Places for People and national charity StreetGames, delivered the sessions in Huntingdon and St Neots as part of a wider initiative running across 13 communities. In total, 209 young people took part in the weekly multi-sport sessions, with 11 moving into volunteer roles. Jamie Dickinson, group head of social impact at Places Foundation, said: "The Huntingdon and St Neots project is a powerful example of how sport can bring communities together and change lives. "By working with local partners who understand the needs of their neighbourhoods, we’ve created safe, supportive spaces where young people can thrive." The sessions, delivered by Sports Connections Foundation, were held at Love's Farm and Ducks Lane in St Neots, and the Coneygear Centre in Huntingdon.
