Ms Adefidiya was dismissed by the Royal Papworth Hospital a month later after it conducted its own disciplinary investigation. The panel at Ms Adefidiya's hearing said that she had been "dishonest" and that she "intended to mislead" the Royal Papworth Hospital in order to secure a nursing job with them. The panel said that Ms Adefidiya's behaviour was a "significant and sustained departure" from the standards of a registered nurse.
