Bloor Homes, a housing developer, hopes to build up to 600 new homes on land adjacent to St Neots Reservoir, on Priory Hill Road in St Neots. In documents submitted to HDC, Bloor Homes said that the land was entrusted to them by the Rowley family. The Rowley family are a "cornerstone of the St Neots community", with Peter Rowley, former Lord of the Manor of St Neots Parish, leaving significant contributions to the town. One of these contributions was leaving the land at Priory Hill Road to Bloor Homes for development, in order to commit to the family's "long-standing investment" in St Neots.
