Hundreds of fish believed to have died after pollution in stream

The Environment Agency, who said it is reviewing the figure, revealed the fish had been discovered at Barrack Brook, Stukeley Meadows, in Huntingdon.
The public were told to avoid contact with the water until the cause of the pollution could be established.
A spokesperson said specialist officers continue to investigate the cause of the incident with water samples sent for testing.
There is no ongoing threat to the water or fish.
"Anyone with new concerns about this incident or any suspected pollution in our waterways can contact the Environment Agency’s 24-hour incident hotline: 0800 807060.”They added that no dead fish were seen over the weekend.
