After a successful seven months of running a monthly drop-in session at Old School Hall in Sawtry, Hunts Community Cancer Network (HCCN) has expanded its support programme to include weekly activities. These sessions, aimed at adults affected by cancer, will provide a combination of physical and social support. The new weekly programme is made possible by a grant from the Cambridgeshire Community Foundation. The additional sessions will be movement-based and include balance and strength, core strength, seated tai chi and tai chi, and RightStart seated and circuit. The expansion of the Sawtry group is part of HCCN's wider strategy to roll out inclusive, evidence-based support across Huntingdonshire.
