For the love of animalsAs a 40+ year Concord resident, I now enjoy reading the Monitor online due to an out-of-state move. The informative article written by Rebecca Pereira regarding the state’s concerns and interpretations of foster care rules and regulations has me somewhat angry. I’m unable to understand just how tweaking the foster protocol is beneficial to the animals, especially those in need of additional care, such as pregnant females? Fosters are basically volunteer animal lovers that play an important role for the animals, and the organizations that are desperately trying to help them. It sounds to me like the willingness of these fosters are making their own decisions to become involved and show love and care to a homeless animal.
