AutoProtect Group has renewed and extended its supply agreement with Group 1 Automotive UK in what it describes as its largest partnership to date. The deal builds on a relationship that began in 2015 and will now roll out to over 115 Group 1 retail locations. Under the agreement, AutoProtect will continue to provide GAP, SMART repair, tyre and alloy wheel insurance products across the dealer group’s network. Group 1 Automotive UK’s head of finance and insurance, Mark Needham, said: "Our business has grown significantly over the last 12 months; at the same time, the F&I landscape has also seen major changes. AutoProtect Group chief revenue officer Mike Edwards said the expanded deal reflected the trust and working relationship the two companies had built over the past decade.
