Changan has officially launched its all-electric Deepal S07 SUV and prices start from £39,990. The Deepal S07 has been tested and calibrated in the UK, with Changan saying there has been more than 150 adaptations made for local conditions. Nic Thomas, managing director of Changan UK, said the Deepal S07 had been designed to meet UK customer expectations on comfort, performance and affordability. Ian Plummer, chief commercial officer at Auto Trader, said the Deepal launch signalled a major moment for the UK EV market. “Changan’s launch marks a major moment for the UK EV market,” he said.
