Dublin favourite Bunsen has been named the third-best burger chain in Europe by travel site Enjoy Travel. Bunsen started on Wexford Street in 2013 and now has several Dublin outlets, including Dame Street, Ranelagh, Rathmines, Temple Bar and Blanchardstown. The menu is famously short: hamburger (€9.45), cheeseburger (€10.45), plus fries (€4.25–€4.75). A typical meal with burger, fries and a soft drink comes in under €17. The chain is known for keeping things simple — freshly ground beef, soft buns, hand-cut fries — and Dubliners have long queued for what’s now officially one of Europe’s best burgers.
