President Donald Trump is urging pregnant women to avoid taking Tylenol as he says there is a link between acetaminophen and autism. But President of the Louisiana Chapter of the Autism Society, Beryl Hebert, says there is no conclusive evidence of Tylenol use in pregnancy and autism. Mr. Trump says the Food and Drug Administration will notify physicians immediately that is strongly recommended that women limit Tylenol use during pregnancy unless medically necessary. “If you have a concern, talk it over with those people who take care of you medically, that you trust,” Hebert advised. “This was an American Medical Association study that was written up in their journal with 2 million-plus children, that found no causal link,” Hebert said.
