The project builds on previous work on interactions between planetary boundaries and on an Earth system impact score for companies and investors. It has the potential to make it much easier for companies to properly measure and assess their systemic impacts on the environment. The council funds research and innovation, develops strategies, analyses and evaluations. This call by Formas funds research that contributes to a better understanding of how climate, water and biodiversity interact. The aim is to prepare societies to take better evidence-based decisions and measures with regard to climate, water and biodiversity.
