According to the brief: ‘South Lakes Housing (SLH) are seeking to appoint an Architecture Practice to develop designs for an affordable housing development at Briery Bank, Arnside. The latest project focuses on redeveloping a prominent site in the village of Arnside which is located at the northern end of Morecambe Bay within the South Lakeland district. SLH expects the team to deliver innovative, practical, and sustainable affordable homes in partnership with local communities and stakeholders. The contract will be awarded on the basis of 70 per cent quality and 30 per cent price. Applicants must hold employer’s liability insurance of £5 million, public liability insurance of £10 million and professional indemnity insurance of £5 million.
