This is to improve the safety of school children, residents, and other road users near Church Stretton Secondary School and St Lawrence C of E Primary School. Shropshire Council wants the restriction to extend over the main school entrances on Shrewsbury Road. The speed limit would be in line with the council's 2023 guidance. The proposed limit would be from a point 42 metres south of Shrewsbury Road's junction with Cwm Dale to 30 metres north of the junction with Churchill Road. People can give their views on the plans until October 2.
