Visit Shropshire is hosting the first 'Tourism in Shropshire' event on November 12 at The Engine House in Highley. This new initiative aims to help tourism and hospitality businesses make the most of the local services available to them. The event will include exhibitions from suppliers and service-based businesses, workshops by Reech and Shropshire Council, as well as entertainment and networking opportunities. Businesses that take an exhibitor stand at the event will be given free membership for 12 months. Visit Shropshire's project lead, Mark Hooper, said: "We are excited to launch Tourism in Shropshire as a central hub for our tourism businesses to connect, drive Shropshire’s thriving tourism sector forward, and support our visitor economy.
