The National Philosophy Prize “Figures of Thought” was established by the National Association of Philosophical Practices in 2007. The idea of setting up the Prize came from the desire of the philosopher Mario Guarna, President of the Prize, to give visibility to those Western and Eastern philosophical forms that are often not taken into consideration by traditional philosophy. Over the years the sections have been added: “Epitaphs”, “Philosophical Magazine”, “Philosophical Essay”, “Philosophy Prize”, “Philosophical Practices”, “Philosophical Event”, “Academic Research”.
