In late 2022, with Duke’s limited allotment of Zoom cloud storage squeezed by a high number of recorded meetings, the Office of Information Technology (OIT) recommended Zoom users adopt Panopto as the place to stash and watch recordings. “Panopto is just a better way to present a Zoom recording than even Zoom itself,” said Duke OIT Media Engineer Todd Stabley, Duke’s project manager for Panopto.
