With that in mind, global leaders gathered in Washington, DC, last week with a clear goal: to make resilience science practical and accessible. The workshop was co-organised by the Global Resilience Partnership, Stockholm Resilience Centre at Stockholm University, Future Earth, the Atlantic Council’s Climate Resilience Centre, and the Resilience Hub. The half-day event marked a pivotal moment in the development of the Resilience Science Must-Knows, helping to inform the forthcoming science report on the Must-Knows designed to guide policy, finance, and practice in building resilience. The feedback gathered at the workshop will go directly to the editorial board, who will integrate it into their ongoing work of revising the Resilience Science Must-Knows. Additional workshops planned for participants in Latin America and the Caribbean, Africa, and Asia will continue the validation process in May, followed by further engagements throughout the year, including during London Climate Action Week, at UNFCCC’s Africa Regional Climate Week, Climate Week NYC, and at COP30 in Belém, Brazil.
