There were 150 exhibitors and nearly 600 entries at Harden Beck Horticultural Society's annual show. The event – on the showfield behind the Golden Fleece Inn, Harden – was opened by businessman Stuart Cummins. Classes included fruit and vegetables, bakery, photography and crafts. "The auction of produce was also very successful, with people keen to bid for the fresh fruit, vegetables and bakery. Annie Kicks took the honours in the children's bakery class, and Ethan Dale won the HBHS Children’s Poetry Plate.
