Last week the GitButler team, with the help and support of GitHub, organized this year's Git Merge conference. The conference was broken up into three parts - the talks day, an un-conference day and a contributor's summit. In addition to these unconf talks, there were over 20 core contributors who organized their own internal catchup on topics ranging from Git 3.0, to incorporating Rust code in core Git, to moving git-scm.com to being a fully static site (which is now done!)
