SUPERIOR, Wis. – Congressman Tom Tiffany has announced his run for Wisconsin Governor to replace Tony Evers. That means there will now be an open race to replace Tiffany in Congress. Tiffany won a special election in 2020 after the resignation of Sean Duffy, who is now Trump’s transportation secretary. Tiffany won his special election by 14 points and has won reelection by more than 20 points in each of his three reelections. The 7th Congressional District includes all of Ashland, Barron, Bayfield, Burnett, St. Croix, Clark, Douglas, Florence, Forest, Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, Polk, Price, Rusk, Sawyer, Taylor, Vilas, and Washburn Counties.
