Breezy Point 5K Earns $148,000 for Minnesota Adult & Teen ChallengeDULUTH, Minn.– The Breezy Point 5k has been an Island Lake tradition now for nearly two decades. The Breezy Point 5k got its start seventeen years ago in the organizer’s backyard, with only 75 runners. But now, this year over 500 runners helped contribute to Minnesota teen challenge. The organizer saying, he’s already received positive feedback from people he’s helped. And for next year, they’re looking forward to having the race on Saturday, July 4th.
