Eirigi’s Newry spokesman Stephen Murney was speaking to Newry Times after British Chancellor George Osborne announced sweeping cuts across Northern Ireland. Murney stated, “The 2012 British Budget, as with every previous Tory budget, is a welfare budget for the millionaires at the expense of the rest of us. Murney continued, “As always, working people in Ireland unfortunate enough to be living under British rule will suffer most from the British Budget.
