Police received a report at around 9pm on Friday, September 19 of a woman entering the River Leven. Multi-agency searches were carried out involving the Air Support Unit, Scottish Fire and Rescue Service and HM Coastguard, however, the woman was not traced. Further searches will be taking place today (September 20) with assistance from the Air Support Unit. The woman is believed to be have been wearing dark jeans, a dark top and black trainers with white soles. A multi-agency search had been carried out after a man was seen entering the water on Saturday, September 13.
