Total enrollment at the Albuquerque campus grew to 23,955 for fall 2025, an increase of 3.13% over last year’s total of 23,228. Total enrollment across all UNM campuses for fall 2025 stands at 28,285, an increase of 4.5% from last year. “Fall 2025 enrollment numbers at UNM reflect continued growth at the institution, marking the sixth consecutive year of growth in the incoming class and the fourth consecutive year of total enrollment growth,” said Dan Garcia, UNM’s vice president for enrollment management. Fall 2025 branch campus total enrollment stands at 4,330, which is a 12.56% increase from last fall. Among new first-year students, 76% are from New Mexico, 19% are from out of state, and 5% are international.
