The charges date back to when he was a teacher at Wolverley Secondary School in the 1980s. A jury found him not guilty on all the counts apart from three counts of indecent assault at Worcester Crown Court today (Monday September 22). Wilkinson, now of Vinsac, Le Vigeant, France, has been granted unconditional bail to appear for sentencing on November 5. He added: "He entered into a relationship a few months too early - it was a consensual relationship and ended up being lasting." He said the relationship was known by the victim's mother and brother and some of Wilkinson's colleagues at the time.
