Rob Grocott and his wife Maria bought their home on Worcester Road in Stourport, which had been Maria's childhood home, a decade ago. After retiring five years ago, Mr Grocott started to increasingly notice the problem with flooding across the road near the site of the former Minerva Point building. "I've noticed it more since I've retired, and it's also given me time to try and get the county council to do something. I understand the county council has a list of things they have to do, but I just want an update and timescale for this to be fixed." In response, a spokesperson for Worcestershire County Council said: " We can confirm that a survey was carried out earlier this year, which scanned several major service cables in the area.
