According to the Worcestershire County Council website, Deansford Lane is set to close from Friday (September 26). There is a valid permit in place for the same day. The closure is needed to facilitate utility repair and maintenance work by Openreach where a utility pole will be replaced. Delays are likely whilst the work is being carried out and drivers are advised to plan ahead of any journeys. There is a diversion in place via Deansford Lane, Worcester Road, Stourbridge Road, Belbroughton Road, Birmingham Road and vice versa.
