Senator Pete Ricketts spoke to a full room on a campaign stop in North Platte on his 2026 re-election tour late Tuesday afternoon. Ricketts talked to about 60 supporters in an upstairs meeting room at Nebraskaland National Bank. “People can plan and pass along the family farm or ranch to the next generation,” Ricketts said. Nebraska is the recipient of $100 million for medical care in rural communities with a grant program for rural hospitals. Ricketts said Democrats spent $38 million to support Osborn’s campaign to unseat Sen. Deb Fischer in 2024.
