An 18-year-old man died after he was found unresponsive in the roadway following a crash with a truck while riding his motorcycle in Buffalo Grove Friday evening. The Buffalo Grove Police Department, Buffalo Grove Fire Department and Arlington Heights Fire Department responded around 5:35 p.m. Friday to the area of Buffalo Grove Road and Flentie Lane for a vehicle crash with injuries. A 911 caller reported a crash involving a red pickup truck and a motorcycle. The motorcycle came to rest in the northbound lane of Buffalo Grove Road just north of University Drive and the pickup truck remained at the scene and parked on Flentie Lane following the collision. Police completely shut down Buffalo Grove Road between Flentie Lane and Park Place for several hours before being reopened around 10:25 p.m.
