Barbara Foster, 83, of Lebanon, died Thursday, August 7 at Homewood Health Campus in Lebanon. She was born December 8, 1941 in Boone County to the late Walter William and Opal Mae (Bean) Hickson. She graduated from Thorntown High School and attended the Indiana Business College in Indianapolis. Barbara worked as a bookkeeper for State Farm and Conseco Insurance until her retirement. Barbara enjoyed watching the Indiana Pacers basketball and spending time with her family. She is survived by her son, Timothy Alan Foster of Chicago; siblings, Chuck (Cindy) Hickson of Lebanon, Judy Price of Lebanon, Carolyn (Dallas) Hadley of Thorntown and Mary Jane (Ken) Billeter of Lebanon. She was preceded in death by her siblings Robert "Bob" Hickson, Donny Hickson and Katy Bryant. Family and friends will gather on Sunday, August 10 from 3:00 p.m. until the time of service at 6:00 p.m. in the Strawmyer and Drury Mortuary, 2400 N. Lebanon Street, Lebanon.
