Siobhan Wordingham, a postgraduate researcher at the University of Chester, will present her illustrated talk "Just a Pile of Old Stones" at Neuadd Pentref Carrog Village Hall. The talk is set for Tuesday, October 14, starting at 7pm, with doors opening at 6.30pm. Ms Wordingham will cover four main themes during her presentation: the definition of early medieval monument sculptures, their significance, current preservation efforts, and ways the public can help protect them. Ms Wordingham is known in the area for her time as a teacher at Ysgol Dinas Brân and for running the Corwen Schools Wind Band. The talk is open to the public, and all are welcome.
