The event, Navigating Through Time, is due to take place on September 27 and 28 across the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site. The festival promises to bring "colour, creativity and celebration" to the site. The aim of the event is to share the lesser-known heritage of the Pontcysyllte Aqueduct and Canal World Heritage Site. Each child has created a sign with a message for the future of the World Heritage Site, which will form a special display for all visitors to enjoy at the weekend. "This project builds on the foundations created by Wrexham council at the beginning of the journey to world heritage status.
