Plaid Cymru MP Liz Saville Roberts has raised the issue with the Driving and Vehicle Standards Agency (DVSA) after complaints from instructors and learners across her Dwyfor Meirionnydd constituency. She warned that some learners risk having to retake their theory test because it will expire before they can sit the practical exam. She has tabled a Parliamentary Question to the Transport Secretary, asking how many extra tests have been made available in Pwllheli and Bala. The delays are impacting learners across North Wales, including 20-year-old Glain Tudur from Llandwrog. "I started looking for tests back in June and there was no availability at any test centre in Gwynedd at all."
