An iconic Mexican food restaurant in Texas that is known for it's Christmas decor will be closing after one last Christmas celebration this year. Earlier in 2025, past owners closed Campo Verde from January 5 until after January 29 which lead many to believe the restaurant was dead. Campo Verde To Close and Then Reopen As A New RestaurantThe Star-Telegram announced this week that Chef “Moose” Benhamacht, who helped revive Campo Verde this year, will close Campo Verde for good after dinner on December 24. After some cleaning and renovations, the building will be rebranded and Campo Verde will reopen as a new restaurant in 2026.
