Norfolk 14 Foot One Design National Championships 2025 at Norfolk Broads Yacht ClubNorfolk 14 Foot One Design Championships at Wroxham Broad © Steven Ford Norfolk 14 Foot One Design Championships at Wroxham Broad © Steven Fordby David Yapp 22 Sep 21:28 BSTWags come over from Dublin to take part in the Annual Norfolk 14 ft One-Design Dinghy Championships held at Norfolk Broads Yacht ClubOver the weekend of 13th/14th September 2025, our historic Norfolk Dinghies competed on Wroxham Broad for the 21st Anniversary Cup first presented in 1952. The Class had invited an Irish contingent, known as "Wags" who sail Water Wags in Dublin Bay, a very similar design to our Norfolks. The winner was Sam Woodcock sailing B20 Kelpie crewed by Pat Woodcock. In third place it was Vincent Delany, a "Wag" from Ireland sailing B78 Jimmy and crewed by David Williams. A wonderful weekend was had by all competitors, organisers and spectators with special thanks given to Norfolk Broads Yacht Club for hosting the event.
