Downtown marketplace marks 10th anniversary with fundraising bash featuring local vendors, craft drinks, and birthday festivitiesThe Boston Public Market is throwing quite the birthday party this fall. The beloved downtown marketplace will celebrate its 10th anniversary at the annual Harvest Party on Thursday, October 16, marking a decade of connecting Bostonians with New England's finest farmers, fishers, and food artisans. Since opening its doors in 2015, the indoor market at 100 Hanover Street has become a cornerstone of the city's emerging Market District, housing over 30 local vendors under one roof. The Harvest Party offers two ways to join the festivities. All proceeds benefit the market's Community Engagement Fund, which helps subsidize rent for local entrepreneurs—particularly those from diverse backgrounds facing barriers to entry—and supports educational programming throughout the community.
