Come summer 2026, travelers can avoid the crowded security lines at Logan Airport. A new off-site TSA screening center in Framingham will make things faster for people heading to Boston's busy terminals. At the location next to the Logan Express stop, workers will screen 15–30 passengers per hour. After getting cleared, travelers will take special buses for a 22-mile trip directly to their terminals, avoiding airport congestion. "Allowing our residents to complete check-in and security here would be a valuable advantage for our community," said Framingham Mayor Charles Sisitsky to WGBH News.
