The father of a toddler girl has paid tribute to his “princess” daughter after the mother and a man living at their address face trial for the child’s suspected rape and murder. Isabelle Rose Welsh, two, died after being rushed to hospital following reports of concerns for her welfare. Alexandra Walker and Harrison Simpson appeared in court last week on suspicion of killing Isabelle at their home in Stockton-on-tees, North Yorkshire. Meanwhile, Isabelle's father Josh Welsh hailed her as his "princess", saying: "Rest in peace Isabelle. Until Monday, a court order had been in place preventing Isabelle from being named as the victim of the alleged attacks.
