A recall of Shaikh Al Kar products due to possible salmonella contamination is expanding in British Columbia. The Canadian Food Inspection Agency recalled Shaikh Al Kar tahini this week. It comes just days after CFIA issued a recall for Shaikh Al Kar-brand plain halva. The recalled product was sold in B.C. Consumers are advised to throw out the recalled product or return it to the store where it was purchased.
