The Prince George Cougars capped off the preseason with a 3-2 overtime loss to the Kamloops Blazers at the West Fraser Centre in Quesnel. JP Hurlbert, a new standout player for the Blazers, put Kamloops on the board early in the second with a powerplay marker. The Cougars had three powerplay opportunities in the third, but were unable to capitalize with the man-advantage.
