The Prince George Hospice Palliative Care Society has launched its new free program, Connecting Minds Through Compassionate Hearts. Spokesperson Laurie De Croos said this is in partnership with the Prince George Council of Seniors and UNBC, and have opened registrations. “The program is for individuals at any age that have a diagnosis, early diagnosis, or waiting for diagnosis for dementia.” said De Croos. The program aims to help people living with early-stage dementia stay connected with the community, and help with purpose and engagement.
