This makes my blood boilThe current issue of the local paper the Cowichan Valley Citizen has an article in it about “Community Safety Expo”. This makes my blood boil — whoever wrote this and arranged this article and expo has obviously never lived or travelled through in the Beverly Street/York Road/Lewis Street area! Our building committee has had meeting after meeting with authorities to stop this and protect the vulnerable seniors, children, school kids and women living here. Nothing has been done, and they now want an expo to celebrate and tell people what a good job they're doing? Wake up North Cowichan council and police, we are not all deaf, dumb and blind.
