Mr. Husted, who is set to run for the governorship of Ohio, is the current secretary of state and he claimed that his office has discovered that 385 non-citizens are registered voters in the Buckeye State. Experts say if the 82 people voted last November it would have amounted to only 0.0015% of the vote – and therefore not change the result of the election for either candidate. According to the documents produced by Secretary Husted, they found the voting irregularities via Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles’ records that showed since 2013, 385 motorists had identified themselves as non-citizens and registered voters.
