The Boston Society of Film Critics (BSFC) has revealed the winners of their 45th annual awards and Sean Baker’s Anora was the runaway hit, taking Best Film, Actress for Mikey Madison plus Director and Original Screenplay for Baker. Timothée Chalamet as Bob Dylan and Edward Norton as Pete Seeger in A Complete Unknown were the Best Actor and Supporting Actor winners, respectively, and Danielle Deadwyler’s turn in the adaptation of August Wilson’s The Piano Lesson earned her Best Supporting Actress. The Brutalist was a double winner, for Score and Cinematography, while Challengers won Editing and Nickel Boys won Adapted Screenplay.
